Happy Birthday Card to Hubby

I have DIY a card to my hubby for his birthday.

I used various punches to create clipart as gifts to his birthday.

Instead of a plain envelope, I also decorated the envelope by using stamps.

The most wonderful thing I think is --
I made the inside of this card a 3D one with "Happy Birthday" in Chinese characters poping up!

He told me he has a big surprise indeed as he could not imagine the card is made by me.
Ha, ha!
I said it was not really good but just made for you.
Happy Birthday and have a great year ahead!

DIY Pen Holder

I like DIY things which I think useful, at least I will use them myself.  I am longed for a pen holder which is different from the one your could see in ordinary store/ shop.
At first, I find this pen holder durable (because it's made of wood), however, too simple and pale.
Then, I stamped several stamps which I believe that they are matching each other.
Finally, it become adorable indeed.  The stamp ink I chose makes the pattern become like being embossed on wood with a heat pen/ gun or heat tools.
Wow, amazing, isn't it?

Stitched Album

Remember last time I talked about Mr. Ducky and his Junior Ducky?

I turned them into the cover for a small album.

I made the album inside a zigzag shaped, so that it could contain more photos.

Here is Mr. Ducky first, and then followed by his Junior Ducky.

Wow, love them.

Motifs

I like cross stitching as well.  Sometimes, when you are hook on large project for a long time, it would be fun to do some small motifs.  They are small, easy to get finished and you could produce much more as you like than large pieces.

Here, I made two little stitches:

I named them as Mr. Ducky and Junior Ducky.

Happy Moon Festival

In Hong Kong, celebration of Chinese traditional festival is still very common in families.  Mid-Autumn Festival is just one of them.  Very long time ago in Chinese families, this was a great festival for family reunion other than the Chinese New Year.  "Full moon" means "reunion", Chinese people would have all family members together to enjoy the festive bliss.  We have moon cakes and lanterns.  Nowadays, friends even may gather together to have BBQ under the moon, that is really a great time!

Happy Moon Festival!
